October Birchbox Opening and a review on my Septmber BBox
So i received my October Birchbox a bit earlier than i usually do. Pleasant surprise..
So this month Birchbox teamed up with a company called GOOP, i guess they are some type of lifestyle inspiration company, i haven’t looked into it but i will.
First let me start out with a review of last months box
This is what i received in my Septemberbox:
Mighty Leaf Tea - Tea Pouches
Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator
21 drops Aromatherapy Blends
Birchbox and Color Club® Custom Collection
Twistband™ Lace up for Fall
Nexxus® Pro-Mend Split End Binding Targeted Leave-In Treatmen…
Nexxus® Pro-Mend Split End Treatment Daily Conditioner
Nexxus® Pro-Mend Split End Treatment
I would purchase most of the products that i received in my September Birchbox.
The only thing that i wouldn’t purchase is the Vasanti Brighten up! Enzymatic Rejuvinator. the reason i didnt like it was because the exfoliation that it offered was sooo finely milled that it made my skin feel very uncomfortable. i have never used a product that made my skin feel so horrible. that being said i do love a good exfoliation i love the Befine exfoliating cleanser with brown sugar, sweet almonds, and oats (alot of people think that it is too rough but i LOVE it!!!)
The other thing that i was on the fence about was the 21 drops aromatherapy. and not because of anything that is wrong with it, but because i am not really into that kind of thing. I suppose if i were then i would purchase, but its not something that i would use.
the nail polish was awesome i only needed one coat, which is always a plus!!
the tea tasted good.
I have always been a fan of the twistbands and will forever purchase those!
and the Nexxus products seem to be doing good things for me. In fact without even realizing it i had purchased the Nexxus products on my own before even receiving the box.
Octobers box came with (MALIN+GOETZ) BERGAMOT BODY WASH, Ouidad hydrausion curl cream, Sprout lip Balm Flights, Supergoop! City sunscreen Serum, and 2 lifestyle extras the first was a lemon zest Luna bar, and the second was a (Malin+goetz grapefruit face cleaner.
I think this box will be fun to play with… ive never heard of most of theses products, aside from the Luna bar hehehe.
Hope you all enjoyed this post!

Lorac PRO Palette
Hello Lovelies!! just checking in with some new swatches from the LORACPRO Palette. First let me start out by saying that the quality of this palette is absolutely amazing!! the shadows glide on like butter, and as you will see in my pictures they are very pigmented. the packaging is very sleek looking, and it feels like NARS packaging.
I swatched the colors in the same order as they appear in the packaging.
in my opinion this palette has a good range of frosty and matte shades. if you are looking for a new palette that you can take from day to night, i would highly recommend this one. it retails for $42.00, i picked mine up at my local Ulta Beauty, but you can also order it online from Sephora,I know my Sephora does not carry LORAC in stores, so i usually go to Ulta for their produts. Thanks for stopping by!!

Fall Beauty Haul!!
So over the past couple of weeks i have done quite a bit of damage at Ulta, Sephora and Mac. Last week i decided to head down to my local MAC Pro store and see what i could get my hands on as far as The Marilyn Collection was concerned. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. First of all i have been very excited for this collection to be released. The first thing that was disappointing about the "early release" is that my local pro store said that they didn't receive the whole line, and the second disappointing factor was that they only received about 6 of each item that they did the did have. Let me start off that i was the third person to walk through the doors of MAC, I was outside before they were even open!!! Swatches of everything that i was able to get will be up very soon, hopefully by tonight. As for Sephora, I went there because i recently hit pan on my Nars Mata-Hari blush, as well as my Nars Galapagos eyeshadow and since both of the items are holy grail products of mine i couldn't risk running out! so after i picked up those 2 items i went over by the too face section and nothing really intrigued me... I'm off to a great start right? WRONG!?!!?!? by now i have now made my way over to the Tarte section... this is where i get my self in trouble. Now they have all of their holiday sets out. So I caved and got 2 out of the 4 sets they had out! (FYI they put the sets out the same day i picked them up). I have pictures and swatches of all of it. the first set that i melted over was the Tarte Carried away collectors set.
This is everything that comes inside!!!
Here are all of the eyeshadow swatches i swathed all of these alone without any type of eyeshadow base
From left to right the colors are: Snowfall in Paris, Golden Gate Bridge, Volcanic Ash and Pyramid Gold
from left to right:Pearl River, Seychelles sand, Touchdown in London Town and Marthas Vineyard
from left to right:Pebble Beach, Boston Brick, Spanish Sangria and Napa Grapes
from left to right:Georgia Peach, Tuscan Sun, Acai Jungle and Coral reef
from left to right Iceland Air, Mystic Sea sport, Concrete Jungle and Hampton Waves
from left to right: Sunshine State, Hawaian Palm, Olive Grove and Sin City
left to right top and then bottom: Jen, Mer, Ali, Nuria, Heath, Casey, Anna and Mel
this is the awesome high quality(super soft) brush that came with this set.
heres the blush its called Adventurous.
The other Tarte set that i purchased was the Fantastic Foursome 4-Piece Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Enthusiast Set
Love these blushes!!I couldn't get any good pictures of these blush swatches... the lighting was just off. SORRY!!
thats all for today ladies, and gents. i will be back this weekend with more fun swatches and more to add to my fall haul!
